Ford is developing a right-hand-drive version of the sports car on his 50th anniversary redesign next year. The carmaker will reveal a heavily revised Mustang at the New York Auto Show on April 17, 2014, exactly 50 years on.

With a right-hand-drive option for the Mustang now available, Ford has plans to market it in right-hand-drive markets like Australia and the UK. Ford is also looking at launching the Mustang in the Indian market as a ‘halo’ product. Currently, Ford’s range in India consists of mainly compact cars and an iconic car like the Mustang could not only give the Ford brand a shove upmarket but also showcase the company’s heritage.

The current generation Mustang is available with three engines, a 3.7-litre V6, the 5.0-litre Mustang GT and the Shelby GT500 that is powered by a 5.8-litre supercharged V8. Ford also sells the Mustang as a drop-top, but it remains to be seen which variant would make it to India.

The company is still evaluating the feasibility of launching the Mustang in India, which with the current duty structure for imported cars would cost no less than Rs. 40 lakh, depending on the variant. If Ford gives the green light, the Mustang could be in a showroom near you by early 2015.

The Japanese company has invested in making some significant styling and sheet metal changes that go beyond soft parts like the bumpers, lights and grille. TheTerrano’s bonnet gets revised character lines that form a slight ‘V’, which flows into the new nose with its distinctive Nissan family grille, inspired by the larger Pathfinder SUV. The all-new headlamps look quite striking, and the re-sculpted single-colour front bumper also looks a lot sharper with more detailing around the fog lamps.The Nissan Terrano will share its powertrains with the Duster. So expect the 1.5-litre DCi diesel to be available in two states of tune – 84bhp and 109bhp, as well as a 1.6-litrepetrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The more powerful diesel mated to a six-speed gearbox has a bit of turbo-lag but pulls strongly once revs pick up.

BMW Z4 is equipped with a powerful 3.0-litre engine with six cylinders 2979cc in-line petrol engine, power is more or less obvious to be exceptional. This generates power upto 301bhp at 5800rpm in combination with a pounding 401Nm at 3700rpm. The mileage considering is about 7.16 Kmpl in the city, while the same averages to 10.37 Kmpl on highways.

This engine manages to allow the vehicle to reach 100 Kmph speed from standstill in a mere 5.1 seconds. While the top speed is further impressive with about 250 Kmph.

Mercedes has launch of the A-class affordable luxury segment in India. It is a D+ segment car that is offered in petrol as well as diesel. The petrol variant is known as A180 Sport and the diesel variant is called A180 Style.

And the diesel engine makes 108 bhp of power output at 4400 r.p.m and generates the torque of 250 Nm ranging from 1250-4000 r.p.m. It can reach the speed upto 100kmph in 10.6seconds. The top speed of this car is 190kmph.

Audi India will launch a new variant of the Q3 crossover in the second half of this year.
The entry-level version of the Q3 crossover will use the same 2-litre TDI turbo diesel engine of the CBU model. The oil burner will pump out 140bhp and 320Nm of torque as compared to 174bhp and 380Nm produced by the standard spec variant. The power will also be transmitted via a 6-speed manual gearbox. The R8 remains one of more appealing supercars on the market due to a mix of stirring driving dynamics, surprising practicality and, of course, double take-inducing good looks.

The last point is especially true of the R8 V10, builds on the exotic appearance and mid-engine proportions of the V8 model with larger side air intakes, more aggressive side sills. That'll make your ears curl up into small, fleshy balls. So yes, it has the measure of most supercars out there.
